GLP-1 Sema
GLP-1 Sema is a 31-residue acylated GLP-1 receptor agonist. Molecular formula C187H291N45O59, molecular weight 4113.58 g/mol, CAS 910463-68-2, PubChem CID 56843331. The defining structural feature is a C18 fatty diacid chain attached via a mini-PEG linker at the Lys26 position. That acylation is the basis for the non-covalent albumin-binding behavior characterized in published pharmacokinetics literature, and is what distinguishes this compound from first-generation GLP-1 receptor agonists studied in earlier in vitro work. GLP-1R binding affinity, cAMP accumulation responses, and receptor selectivity relative to other incretin subtypes have all been characterized in published cell-based assay research. First described in published pharmacology literature. Supplied as lyophilized powder, 20mg per vial, verified by Vanguard Laboratory under a 7-panel conformity protocol (ISO/IEC 17025:2017, A2LA).
