Overview
This Acceptable Use Policy outlines the rules and expectations for purchasing and using products from WhyNot Labs. We sell research chemicals to qualified researchers. That's the deal, and we take it seriously.
By placing an order with WhyNot Labs, you agree to comply with this policy in its entirety.
1. Intended Use — Research Only
All products sold by WhyNot Labs are designated as research chemicals for in vitro laboratory research and experimentation only.
Products must be used in compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations.
2. Purchaser Representations and Warranties
By purchasing any product from WhyNot Labs, you represent and warrant that:
2.1 You are at least 21 years of age.
2.2 You are purchasing products solely for legitimate laboratory research purposes.
2.3 You have the necessary qualifications, training, and/or institutional affiliation to handle research chemicals safely and responsibly.
2.4 You will store, handle, and use products in accordance with safe laboratory practices and all applicable regulations.
2.5 You will comply with all applicable federal, state, and local laws governing the purchase, possession, storage, and use of research chemicals.
2.6 All information you provide to WhyNot Labs, including account information, shipping address, and stated purpose of purchase, is accurate and truthful.
2.7 You understand that products have not been evaluated or approved by the FDA for any purpose and are not intended for any use requiring FDA approval.
3. Prohibited Uses
The following uses of WhyNot Labs products are strictly prohibited:
3.1 Human Consumption. Products must not be ingested, injected, inhaled, applied topically, or otherwise administered to humans in any manner.
3.2 Animal Administration. Products must not be administered to animals in any manner, including veterinary, agricultural, or testing applications that are not conducted under proper institutional oversight and applicable regulations.
3.3 Clinical or Therapeutic Use. Products must not be used for the diagnosis, treatment, cure, mitigation, or prevention of any disease or medical condition in humans or animals.
3.4 Food, Drug, or Cosmetic Use. Products must not be used as a food, food additive, dietary supplement, drug, cosmetic, or household chemical.
3.5 Unauthorized Resale. Products must not be resold, redistributed, or transferred to any third party without prior written authorization from WhyNot Labs. This includes resale on e-commerce platforms, at retail locations, or through any other channel.
3.6 Repackaging or Relabeling. Products must not be repackaged, relabeled, or altered in any way that changes the original labeling, research-use designation, or safety information.
3.7 Misrepresentation. Products must not be marketed, described, or represented as anything other than research chemicals. This includes representing products as pharmaceuticals, supplements, or alternatives to FDA-approved medications.
3.8 Illegal Activity. Products must not be used for any purpose that violates federal, state, or local law.
4. Resale Authorization
4.1 Written Approval Required. Resale of WhyNot Labs products requires prior written authorization from WhyNot Labs. To request resale authorization, contact us at [email protected].
4.2 Reseller Requirements. Authorized resellers must maintain the research-only designation of all products, preserve original labeling and disclaimers, and comply with all provisions of this Acceptable Use Policy.
4.3 Revocation. Resale authorization may be revoked at any time if the reseller violates any term of this policy or our Terms of Service.
5. Enforcement
We take compliance seriously. WhyNot Labs reserves the right to take the following actions if we believe, in our sole discretion, that a purchaser has violated or is likely to violate this policy:
5.1 Order Cancellation. We may cancel any pending order and issue a full refund.
5.2 Order Refusal. We may refuse to accept future orders from the purchaser.
5.3 Account Termination. We may suspend or permanently terminate the purchaser's account without prior notice.
5.4 Investigation. We may investigate orders, communications, or account activity that suggest non-research use.
5.5 Legal Action. We may pursue any legal remedies available under applicable law.
Indicators that may trigger enforcement action include, but are not limited to:
- Requests for dosing, administration, or usage guidance.
- Communications indicating intended human or animal consumption.
- Order patterns inconsistent with legitimate research purposes.
- Attempts to resell products without authorization.
- Providing false or misleading information during account registration or ordering.
6. Reporting Violations

7. Disclaimer

WhyNot Labs is not responsible for monitoring or enforcing how purchasers use products after delivery. However, we maintain the right to refuse service to anyone whose conduct suggests non-compliance with this policy.
